Developed by Cornell CS researchers, Supercloud enables users to migrate VMs across different cloud platforms. The Aristotle team is interested in using Supercloud’s Xen-Blanket wrappers to allow images created under Eucalyptus to run on OpenStack clouds, Azure, and other platforms.
The Aristotle team contacted Indiana University to arrange a proof of concept with Jetstream. Early testing by Cornell developers is underway and a VM from Jetstream has been successfully migrated to Red Cloud and back.
